Aim of the project

The aim of the project is to understand in what manner typefaces can influence emotion and, as a consequence, affect the message to be conveyed. The project explores typography as a leading role in a digital magazine as this might focus the reader. The researches will investigate static, contemporary, experimental and animated typography and how the features of each could support with emotive associations in any issue. By targeting different types of audience in a magazine (children, teenagers and adults), the study will identify in which way typefaces play a role in the consciousness and the unconsciousness of people whether they are children, teenagers or adults. I will evaluate the facts, the emotion’s results and the feedback reached from the readers.
